Hello, I'm Laura.

Hi my name is Laura and I am the founder of Smoke and Sugar Catering. I am a self taught baker with a passion for baking anything I can get my hands on. I have been baking for the last ten years​,​ creating everything from cakes​,​ cookies​,​ pies​,​ pastries and more. I have been a finalist in competitions such as the Ellis Early Learning Center Baking Competition with James Beard Award Winning Pastry Chef Joanne Chang. I have taught myself a variety of kitchen skills and invented my own unique cake design. I create hand painted cakes! I use a matte white chocolate glaze instead of fondant and edible paints I mix myself so that the cake is 100% edible and delicious! I can't wait to bake for you!
